Growing up in Hong Kong had a massive impact on my photography. Its amazing tropical light, architecture, harbour and cityscape, street culture and character filled faces a constant source of inspiration.
Since that time photography has been a huge part of both my private and professional life. I've worked in many aspects of photography including traditional, digital and large format photographic printing, creative retouching, pre-press work, and editorial, retail, wedding, product and commercial photography. All this giving me a broad palette of techniques and skills to draw upon in my work.
I have an obsession for both wide, and shallow focus lenses, which is probably the main connecting factor in my work; that and a love of colour, strong lines and unusual angles. I shoot everything; people, landscapes, animals, flowers, plants, textures, candids, architecture, products, weddings, details, rivers, the sea, bands, theatre... Well you get the idea.
I am available for commissions and my work is for sale as limited edition fine art prints, rights managed and royalty free image files and regular prints. I am also constantly exhibiting new work, my last solo exhibition was entitled Extended Mileage.
Above all I am passionate about this planet we live on and strive in both my professional and private life to work towards a better world, free from extinction, pollution, wanton destruction, famine and social injustice - to name but a few. Personally and in my business I use green power, recycled and forest alliance papers, carbon offset car sharing and air travel, bicycles and public transport.
